ARRL Registered License Instructor
HAM Radio is a wonderful hobby, with
something for everyone. Whether you are interested in local communication with
friends and family, supporting emergency services, disaster preparedness, international
(DX) contacts, contests and awards, satellites, digital communications, and so
much more, it is found in Amateur Radio.
I enjoy sharing the hobby with others and I
am always willing to help anyone interested in earning their Amateur Radio
license to prepare for the exam.
There is a lot of study material available for
someone preparing to take his or her license exam. I recommend the ARRL study
guides:
The ARRL Ham Radio License Manual (Technician)
The ARRL General Class License Manual
These manuals will help you prepare for
your exams and contain all of the questions and answers in the current test
pool.
Dave Casler, Amateur Radio call-sign KE0OG,
has an excellent series of video on YouTube to help you prepare for your Technician’s license.
You can also take practice exams on-line at https://hamexam.org.
I hope to meet you on-the-air.
