Communications for Survival and Self-Reliance

Back in 2003, I wrote a book about using Ham Radio for survival and self-reliance. The book is no longer available (going out of print when the publisher, Paladin Press, went out of business in December 2017). 

I can provide a .PDF copy to any Ham who would like one, since all publications and distribution rights reverted back to me at the end of 2017. 

“Communications for Survival and Self-Reliance” was my experience with preparedness communications back then. Many things have changed in preparedness communications since 2003, and many things have remained the same; but the one thing that has remained constant is that we, as Hams, have a communications capability that is independent of the communications infrastructure of the non-Ham world – a communications capability that we should make every effort to maintain and improve.
