OARS Field Tech Ops

 

Field Tech Ops (https://www.olyham.org/field-tech-ops), conducted by the Olympia Amateur Radio Society (OARS) is a “hands-on” approach for new and novice Hams to learn & practice radio usage, skills, techniques, and technologies to become “Radio-Active.”

If you want to improve your skill using your radios, you need to get out into the field and practice. You won't improve your radio skill sitting around a table, you have to get out there and operate. OARS recognizes the importance of operating radios in the field, and to this end runs Field Tech Ops once or twice per month.
