Varusteleka Remote Military March

 

Friday, 25 April - Sunday, 27 April 2025

Recon Division - Minimum requirements: Combat uniform (no matter which pattern, you can mix & match), boots that cover the ankle, at least 10 kg / 22 lbs rucksack from start to finish. In addition, you must spend the night outside (under a tarp, in a tent or hammock, or something along these lines) and march back during the following day. The marching distance is 50 kilometers.

Varusteleka’s Remote Military March is back for the sixth time! I participate in the Recon Division every year. This is a great opportunity to get out into the field and operate your radios while on the march.

Carry a small HF radio and make DX contacts during the overnight, use your UHF/VHF HT to stay in contact with others on the march and make contacts along the way.
